Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse
Naturally UniQue Tip of the Week!
Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse will remove soap scum mineral deposits and product buildup from the locks, while sealing the cuticle, leaving the hair shiny! The ACV rinse closes the cuticle because of it’s low, acidic PH. This will remove soap scum and help to neutalize the hair to its preferred PH range. The vinegar will also help to control dandruff and oily hair while adding shine, softness and bounce to the hair.
Now I have seen people mix up a apple cider rinse in the sink and dip their heads in the sink filled with ACV..this can be messy if done this way.
Mixing together in a 8oz spritz bottle
– 2 tablespoons lemon juice (15 drops) ph 2-3
– 1 pint of water PH 4-6 (will balance the vinegar & lemon)
1/4 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
Spray mixture into the hair , massage and let it sit for 3 – 5 minutes. Rinse out with warm water. Shampoo the hair , and follow up with a conditioner.
I recommend doing the ACV rinse maybe once a month to keep locks clean from product buildup.
